From July 17 to 27, 2025, the walled town of Óbidos transforms into a living medieval realm, reliving the tragic and timeless story of King Pedro and Inês de Castro.
For eleven days, knights roam the cobbled streets, nobles gather in candlelit corners, and music fills the air. With over 250 performers and 1,000 volunteers, this is not just a market — it’s a full-scale, emotional journey to the 14th century.
Wander through nine immersive zones, taste traditional recipes in rustic taverns, explore handcrafted wares, and take part in the Royal Evening a unique experience with costumes, procession, medieval games and a grand feast.
