Caixa Alfama 2025: Fado returns to its roots
On September 26 and 27, 2025, the iconic neighborhood of Alfama becomes the soul of Lisbon once again, as it hosts the Caixa Alfama Festival. Over 40 fado artists will perform in 12 venues, filling the historic streets with music, poetry, and emotion.
This year’s edition pays tribute to Maria da Fé, a legendary voice of fado. The lineup includes major names such as Gisela João, Katia Guerreiro, Camané, and many more.
Tickets start at €25, with wristband pickup available at the Fado Museum starting September 25.
